This study of 2,210 Danish adults shows that scam exposure remains significant, with 74% of participants encountering a scam in the past year. While 73% say they are confident in recognizing scams, 38% of those exposed interacted with a scammer. Ultimately, 6% experienced financial or data loss, while 45% of those scammed reported the incident to authorities. Among victims, 62% reported an impact on their mental wellbeing.
