Australian Payments Network (AusPayNet) Joins GASA as a Supporting Member

The Global Anti-Scam Alliance is pleased to welcome the Australian Payments Network (AusPayNet)  as a Supporting Member.

AusPayNet is the self-regulatory body for Australia’s payments industry, working to ensure a safe, efficient, and competitive payments system. The organisation brings together financial institutions, payment service providers, retailers, and technology companies to collaboratively shape the future of payments in Australia. Payments are at the end of the economic crime lifecycle. Scam victims are socially engineered to authorise a payment before criminals launder their ill-gotten gains. AusPayNet plays a critical role in helping the industry to identify and mitigate economic crime threats and enhance trust in payments.

Andy White, CEO of AusPayNet , said, "Scams are a global problem requiring a global response. The Global Anti-Scams Alliance (GASA) provides a forum to develop such a global response through cross-sectoral collaboration and public-private partnership. In mitigating scams, we are better together."

By joining GASA, AusPayNet strengthens its international collaboration to combat scams and fraud. Together with our growing network of partners, we look forward to sharing insights, advancing best practices, and building greater resilience against scams across the digital economy.
