Allstate Identity Protection Joins the Global Anti-Scam Alliance to Strengthen the Fight Against Scams and Identity Theft

Allstate Identity Protection has joined the Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA) as a Corporate Member within the North America Chapter, strengthening its commitment to protect people from scams and identity theft.

Scams have quickly become one of the biggest threats people face today. From fake bank and law enforcement impersonation calls to phishing attacks and account takeover attempts, the tactics we once knew are increasingly sophisticated with the rise of AI-powered tools. Protecting consumers of all ages and backgrounds from these evolving threats calls for ongoing innovation, education, and collaboration.

For nearly 20 years, Allstate Identity Protection has been on a mission to help protect people's personal information and finances—just like they protect their homes and cars. Today, more than 11 million consumers trust Allstate Identity Protection to help safeguard their identities.

Through proactive monitoring, privacy and scam protection tools, dedicated human-powered restoration support, and reimbursement coverage that can help fill gaps left by financial institutions, Allstate Identity Protection helps members stay protected before, during, and after fraud. Joining GASA is a natural extension of that commitment, helping expand efforts through industry collaboration, intelligence sharing, research, and consumer education.

“At Allstate Identity Protection, our mission is to help people detect, prevent, and recover from scams and identity threats. We want to empower our consumers to navigate an increasingly complex digital landscape with greater security and peace of mind. That's why we're proud to join GASA,” said Binsy Geevarghese, Chief Product Officer at Allstate Identity Protection.

“No single company or industry can solve the scam epidemic alone. Meaningful progress requires collaboration and a collective commitment to staying ahead of emerging threats. By joining GASA, we're strengthening our commitment to consumers and working alongside organizations around the world to advance a future where people are better protected, better informed, and better equipped to navigate the digital world with confidence. Together, we can raise the standard for scam prevention and build a safer digital future for all.”

"Scammers are constantly adapting their tactics, which means consumer protection must evolve just as quickly. We're delighted to welcome Allstate Identity Protection to the GASA North America Chapter, where their expertise in identity and scam protection will strengthen our collective efforts to help consumers stay safer in an increasingly digital world." — Nils Mueller, Chapter Director, GASA North America.
