GASA Southeast Asia Chapter Meet-up
The first webinar of GASA Southeast Asia’s monthly series focused on scam compounds — a fast-spreading global crisis at the intersection of human trafficking, forced cybercrime labour, and organized fraud.
Hosted by Chapter Advisor Rajesh Sandhu , the session shed light on how scam compounds are built, how victims are coerced into scams, and how these operations fuel a transnational economy of fraud. Participants heard a first-hand account from a survivor, alongside deep investigative insights into criminal structures, financial flows, and the law enforcement challenges of tackling such cross-border crime.

BC Tan , Managing Director & Head of Southeast Asia Investigations – Kroll
Neo , Scam Compound Survivor
Jessica Chuah , VP of Growth (APAC) – Crystal Intelligence
