OKX Joins Global Anti-Scam Alliance as Foundation Member
We are pleased to welcome OKX as a Foundation Member of the Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA).
As a global digital asset technology company, OKX brings deep expertise in compliance, investigations, risk management, and consumer protection to the fight against scams and financial crime. OKX will join both the GASA Global Advisory Board and the GASA North America Chapter Board, contributing expertise in compliance, investigations, and digital asset markets to initiatives focused on consumer protection, intelligence sharing, and coordinated action against scams and financial crime.
“Joining the Global Anti-Scam Alliance reflects OKX’s deep commitment to protecting users and strengthening trust across the digital asset ecosystem. Effective action against scams and illicit activity requires close collaboration between industry, law enforcement, and global organisations like GASA. At OKX, we have invested heavily in building a compliance-first framework that combines advanced monitoring, experienced investigations teams, and proactive engagement with authorities worldwide. I look forward to working with GASA and its partners to help advance global standards, improve information sharing, and support efforts to combat financial crime at scale,” said Linda Lacewell, Global Advisory Board Representative, OKX.
“Scams and financial crime are global challenges that require coordinated, cross-border solutions. At OKX, our investigations teams work closely with law enforcement agencies to identify suspicious activity, trace illicit funds, and take decisive action to protect users. Through our involvement with GASA’s North America Chapter, I’m excited to contribute to a more unified approach that brings together industry expertise, data-driven insights, and operational experience to disrupt criminal networks and create a safer online environment for everyone,” added Jared Der-Yeghiayan, North America Chapter Board Representative, OKX.
“I am very pleased to welcome OKX to our North America Advisory Board as a key partner in our scam-fighting workstreams. As digital assets become more integrated into the broader financial architecture, it is increasingly important to include leading voices from the crypto sector as we build a coalition of champions across the US and North America,” offered Nils Mueller, Director, GASA North America Chapter.
“As scams continue to evolve alongside new technologies, trusted collaboration becomes more important than ever. OKX brings valuable expertise in security, risk management, cryptocurrency, and digital asset ecosystems, strengthening GASA’s global efforts to protect consumers and build trust online,” added Jorij Abraham, Managing Director of the Global Anti-Scam Alliance.
As scams continue to evolve across financial services, digital platforms, and emerging technologies, collaboration between industry leaders, policymakers, law enforcement, and consumer protection organisations remains essential to building a safer digital ecosystem for everyone.
