GASA Chapters

Taking the Fight against Scams across the Globe

In today’s interconnected world, cyber criminals operate across borders, making it imperative that our defenses against scams are both robust at a national level and coordinated internationally. Recognizing the crucial need for local action to support global efforts, we are initiating the establishment of national GASA chapters.

The aim of these chapters is to forge a solid network of stakeholders committed to safeguarding consumers from fraud at the national level. While aligning with GASA’s global initiatives—such as the Global State of Scams survey, virtual meet-ups, and the Global Anti-Scam Summits—chapters offer additional, localized value through several key activities:

  • Hosting In-person Gatherings: These events facilitate the exchange of the latest intelligence on scams and provide networking opportunities for stakeholders.

  • Launching National Consumer Protection Initiatives: These include:

  • The real-time exchange of fraud-related information.

  • Establishing websites dedicated to consumer scam awareness.

  • Creating and distributing free resources and tool kits for consumer education.

  • Conducting National Fraud Research: By studying fraud trends and consumer vulnerabilities at the national level, we can develop more effective strategies to protect consumers from scams.

Innovations and strategies developed by one chapter can serve as valuable models for others, fostering a spirit of collaboration and shared progress across the network.

If you are interested in contributing to an existing chapter or would like to initiate a new chapter, please complete the form below. Together, we can build a formidable, coordinated defense against scams, protecting consumers worldwide.
