Who Are We

The Anti-Scam Asia Summit 2023

20th and 21st of November, Taipei, Taiwan | Offline Venue & Online

Online scams are the most reported type of crime. Most countries now state that between 20 to 50% of all crimes reported are related to online fraud. This is only the tip of the iceberg, as only 7% of all scam victims report the crime to law enforcement. With nearly $ 55 billion lost last year and more than 300 million consumers scammed fast action is required.

As technology advances, it has also provided scammers and upper hand to drastically improve their technique to conduct online scams.

Organized for the first time, Anti-Scam Asia Summit (ASAS) 亞洲防詐高峰會, a sister event to Global Anti-Scam Summit (GASS), aims to facilitate regional discussion on ways to stay ahead of digital criminals between governments, consumer, and financial authorities, lawmakers & law enforcement, brand protection agencies, and companies.  By the end of the summit we hope to have a joint action to help protect consumers from getting scammed.

This inaugural annual event will be organized as a hybrid to give flexibility for those who want to join in person in Taipei, Taiwan or join via online during 20th to 21st of November, 2023.  Subsequent editions will be hosted on a rotation around Asia.  The Anti-Scam Asia Summit 亞洲防詐高峰會 is jointly organized by Gogolook & GASA.
